On January 8th 2007, the Russan cruiseship Maxim Gokiy visited Saba for the day with some 469 mostly German passengers on board. Some 300 of the passengers came ashore to enjoy an island tour and what the island has to offer. It was a very busy day on Saba with many private individuals giving Island tours to help out the taxi fleet.
